Jesmonite set - 250g powder + 100 ml liquid

Jesmonite is an eco-friendly, user-friendly, water-based resin perfect for crafting both functional and decorative objects. The finished products are lightweight, durable, and impact-resistant.

The resin is created by mixing two components into a homogenized mass, which can be tinted with water-based color pastes. The recommended mixing ratio is 2.5 parts powder to 1 part liquid (e.g., 250 g powder to 100 g liquid), and the pigment should not exceed 2% of the total mixture.

For casting, use silicone molds, as the mixture begins to set quickly. Within 1-2 hours, the item can be removed from the mold, though it requires 24 hours to fully cure. Once cured, the object can be sanded, painted, or decorated. Acrylic paints, marbling, decoupage, stenciling, and effects materials can transform the surface into a glossy or antiqued finish. Adding recycled, colored glass granules, such as Glassroxx, creates a unique terrazzo effect.
